well, if these people are able - and the law doesn't prevent them from working after retirement... then the law needs to be changed. I think it's more apparent that most would assume - think of all those people working for the State of CA in Sacramento, or for Caltrans... they retire because the formula of 65 or 75... whatever it is, but essentially years of service plus age to get to some magic number was instituted and so it forces people to retire but if they are healthy and able, why not work for extra money.
The law needs to be changed and it's outrageous what these people are making to begin with.

I wouldn't bet the farm on this scam running much past 2010.
