CSA covers 'the basic needs'

Mountain View resident Eric Ross is all smiles as he greets a volunteer at the Community Services Agency and begins selecting items from the Food and Nutrition Center. Ross, who has been using CSA's services for about five months, is among a recent surge of new clientele there.

I never thought I'd be in the situation. I was laid off after working at a company for over 10 years and was not just able to "bounce back". Our company used to volunteer here a few years during the holidays for this remarkable program and I even brought my kids here to volunteer one year. Now this year I knew I had to come in to CSA and provide some sort of Christmas for them. I am so thankful for all CSA does.
