Spartan runners take rare state title

The Mountain View High School boys cross country team has brought home a state championship title — the first such title of any sport in Spartan history — after the California Interscholastic Federation state meet on Saturday, Nov. 28.

Way to Go M.V. good job, i ran track for MVHS in the 80's. Spartan Pride.

This is a great success for the school in a sport that needs more public acclaim. Cross country, by my own high school experience is a demanding and gut wrenching sport that will take you to the depths of your stamina and physical capabiliy. Kudos to those hard working young men.
