Man beaten, robbed at 7-Eleven on Rengstorff

Police say a 40-year-old Mountain View man was beaten and robbed by four attackers in a 7-Eleven parking lot Sunday evening.

I used to go there every morning to get my WSJ. Why can't the MTV PD prevent this disgrace from happening? What are they doing?

This sounds like a cowardly scum-on-scum crime and really not an indicator of the area being dangerous for responsible citizens.

yeah same thing happened near sylvan and el camino, dudes beat up a drunk guy walking stole his money and lottery tickets. i walk this area all the time with my fam and never even been as much as intimidated. criminals/ thiefs smell out stuff like this, optimal crime for them imo...
