TONIGHT: Green bond back on MVLA agenda

Trustees of the Mountain View-Los Altos school district board will hear a presentation on the details of a proposed "green bond" measure at their regular meeting tonight. If the measure goes forth, voters could see it appear on the June 2010 ballot.

It would sure be nice to be all green, all saving, all serving.. BUTTTT... for gosh sakes, in this economy, don't go further into debt. MVLA schools have gotten along just fine for many years without solar panals, without super pools, etc... turn the heat down in the pools, or just spread black trash bags on them in the summer time. DON'T go increasing debt on an overburdened electorate..
