Great idieato revise the park. Check the skate board park in Menlo Park. That would be wonderful for the kids.
Thanks

Nice park! Great things could happen here. Lots of possibility's. Just plan it well and leave room for possible underground parking.

"The sky's the limit" for the parks design??? This is the same guy who wants to cut public safety. Talk about messed up priorities. Proud to say that I did not vote for him.

The sky is most certainly not the limit. The budget is. Start by enforcing the law in and around that park right now.
Showboating politicians need to get real jobs.

The back yard of my most recent home in MV backed up to the Rock Church. Has the city even considered the families who live on Lauella Ct.?? (off of Villa) No matter what they do with that property, it's going to negatively affect those homeowners/renters. But since it's only a handful of houses, the city prob. doesn't even care. I agree with Old Ben; start enforcing the law in and around the park right now! Lots of gambling going on in broad daylight; I wouldn't even THINK about letting my girls walk to the pool. It's definitely NOT safe. Expanding the park onto Crisanto Ave. is prob. a good idea, because at least that would eliminate the left turn from Rengstorff (onto Crisanto). Oncoming traffic is clueless as to the traffic rules at that particular location.......but that's a different topic; I digress!

"The sky is the limit", just the phrase a taxpayer wants to hear. Wasn't there a multple stabbing incident at this center just a week or so ago? This sky high pile of taxpayer money would better spent on more police officers.

Wow… where to being with this one … Hmmm...
* 'The sky is the limit' - I just filed my final state and federal taxes last night. I don't need to comment on this, but if I did it would also apply to the horse you rode in on.
* The city cannot even afford AC for the current building but is looking to build a whole new building that is as much as four stories? See the prior non-comment about the horse.
* Closing off a street in an urban area can create a nice pedestrian area, but in a suburban area it would just make the park 20 feet wider on one side. Is it worth that?
* The park in and of itself is nice and safe. It is the people that inhabit it that cause problems. If you want to curb the stabbings, shooting, drive-bys, assaults, and drug sales in and around the park, you need to enforce the law.

Is this guy going to vote to cut city employee jobs this next year so he can create this dream park of his? Where is the city hiding all this money? I thought the city manager said we are in a financial crisis?
