Er... in my family we take care of our parents. We care for them in their old age. We don't let them ride public transportation. We wait on them as they waited on us. We even arranged for our spinster aunt to be taken care. We don't expect the public and taxpayers to fill this role. My grandparents died in our house when I was young. Yes, there are some who have no family and need state support, but those with family in the area should depend on their family for "accessibility" to the area.
