TONIGHT: Community meeting on Google WiFi

Residents of Mountain View will get their first chance to make in-person suggestions on how to improve the city's free WiFi network during a public meeting hosted by Google tonight at 7 p.m.

I went tonight. It was a nice meeting, but nothing was said that was not already known. There were a couple of grumpy old men (think SNL character) who complained about the lack of customer service, but most people were happy with the free service. ExpressNets was there selling wifi modems and repeaters. Mayor Barbie was there to say a few words but ran out and left early.

USA, I'm sure that you and I would agree on what should be done with people that complain about free stuff...

Don usually deletes my postings about what to do with child molesters (something to do with the 8th amendment), so I'll just leave this one alone.
