A midsummer night's dream come true

The Mountain View Public Library has seen a big increase in use by children and families over the summer, as have most other local libraries. The reason, say happy librarians, is that fewer families are traveling this summer.

Our Mtn View Library is fantastic! The book selection is great, the atmosphere inside and outside is wonderful. And, we have some really great librarians. My kids & I just love all the librarians (men & women) in the Children's section. They are so helpful and they listen and speak so respectfully and kindly to children.

Thank you!!

We love the children's librarians, too!!! Even though we had to leave MV (now S'vale), we still come back to go to the library!!!!! My girls grew up there; they couldn't wait for the Reading Program to begin each summer. And Librology was a 'must' for three summers in a row! One of my girls even volunteered there two summers ago. So nice to see such a nice article written about them.

The library is truely a magical place this summer. A big thank you to the Friends of the Library for supporting all the activities for the children this summer.

I do not have kids but I use this library a lot. The staff are helpful and the ambiance is top-notch.The technology such as email reminders and the ability to request material is so, so helpful.
This is the real center of the community.
