We have lift-off

NASA's LCROSS satellite successfully launched yesterday at 2:32 p.m. from Cape Canaveral Florida after being designed and constructed at NASA Ames in Mountain View. The Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite is expected to slam into the surface of the moon where its special sensors will determine whether there is water ice that could support extended human stays there.
