does anyone know if the bowling alley would move someplace? the only other bowling alley that I know of is in Cupertino. I would hate to lose the bowling alley.
what would be FABULOUS is if the San Antonio Shopping Center gets redeveloped, to put the bowling alley over there! imagine a user-friendly complex with retail, restaurants, and family entertainment in a location that is accessible by bus for our many residents who don't drive.

Yeah, Strike is the nearest bowling alley without PA Bowl and their lanes have a pretty short runway. First El Camino lanes and now this. I guess people just don't like to roll anymore.

Mel's Bowl on El Camino in Redwood City is still rolling strong!

Surely, there has to be 26 people who can STILL afford to buy a home around here.....somewhere.

Cupertino has Strike on North Wolfe Rd and also has Homestead Lanes on, of all places, Homestead Rd.
We've been to some really fun kids' birthday parties at PA Bowl in the past 2 yrs, so it would be great if they're able to relocate. They typically assign one staff member to the party for the full 2 hrs and that staff member sets up the party table, sets up the lanes, helps with any issues during bowling and serves the food.
We've found the staff there to be friendly, helpful, and very accomodating to parties with up to 25 kids.

I would be sad to see Palo Alto Bowl go, it is definitely more family friendly than Strike. They even have a free bowling program for kids this summer, offering a free game and shoe rental every day during the summer! Look it up online.

Bowling is a great family activity. It has been for many years..
We lost Mountain View Bowling Alley which was a very sad loss.
PALO ALTO BOWL HAS TO STAY.
