Top space geeks flock to Mountain View

The world's next generation of leaders in space exploration will assemble at NASA Ames this summer for, among other things, discussions about whether humans should settle in caves on Mars.

What are these technofetishist morons smoking? We'll all be lucky if we aren't settling in caves right here on Earth in the next decade. NASA is a welfare queen, let the venture capitalists fund it and get your soft money-counting hands off of my paycheck.
