Police launch red light enforcement campaign

Santa Clara County law enforcement officials are conducting a red light traffic enforcement campaign through May 17 in an effort to reduce collision-related deaths and injuries.

El Camino and Grant is a place waiting for a serious crash... Those coming off Hiway 237 continue to hit the gas when the light turns yellow. Its only a matter of time before someone gets seriously hurt or killed.

It has already happened once at grant and el camino if i recall, about 2 years back.

it was the woman who got hit by the truck carrying a heavy load of sand, something like that. weekday morning about 9am. I think she went through the red light, not sure.

red-light runners who are talking on their cell phone...those shouldn't be too hard to find.
