Power Outage 2 Nights in a Row???

Original post made by darkness, Waverly Park, on Apr 13, 2009

And at the same hours (8-10pm)!!!! Sunday night, it started with a series of brown outs which nearly killed my electronics, then a complete black out around 8pm. 2 hours later, the power came back. Exact same thing again tonight (Monday). WHAT IS GOING ON and WHO IS TO BLAME???

We only had the one power outage last week, and nothing at all on Sunday & Monday in Old Mountain View (near Calderon).

Are you sure it's affecting more than just your house? It could be some issue with your own electrical circuit breaker box, house wiring, etc.

No my neighborhood was out and when I called PGE, they were aware of it. No explanation though. Think it may be connected to the work over by El Camino Hospital.

I can attest that my house was affected in the same way as described by Darkness -- power out two nights in a row. I'd like to know what is going on too ... should I expect it again tonight?

Yes we had two nights of power outages too...the second night though it seemed like a brown out. Not sure what is going on...maybe related to the work over by the hospital??
