Do only Los Altos elementary schools feed into Los Altos High? I find it interesting that MV High is rater higher than Los Altos high when theoretically the elementary schools feeding into MVH have inferior ratings. I know it's all based on test scores, which probably isn't the best measure. It's just interesting.

No, Los Altos High includes students from Mtn. View as well as Los Altos, which probably explain the downward trend of the ranking.

So what neighborhoods would feed into LA elementary and junior highs, but then MV High? Just curious in case I decide to move!

Disgusting. Francis and co, why dont you just say what you're thinking-- how do I keep my kids away from non-white kids?
Mtn View's elementary schools are absolutely wonderful, but there are some types that will... fit in... better in Los Altos. Your loss, gang

ec, you couldn't be further from the truth. I'm not white. As a mother of young kids I want to know what the best schools are. I don't understand how that is racist?

"Greatschools.net sucks" is not disrespectful or offensive, neither is satire or hyperbole or even farce. Making up web site addresses like IhateMexicans.com and legalizesegregation.com only point out that sites like Greatschools.net are used by many people who fear a brown or black planet. Even though I am not a teacher, I have over a decade of experience working in and out of the California education system, and the bottom line is that many white and Asian parents do not want their children mixing with brown or black children. Why is this simple truth so difficult to acknowledge? Your act of censorship is within your right, after all, it is your forum, however, you must know the price of your deletion cheapens your product and any claim as a 1st Amendment organization. You'll make an editorial decision to run "news" about a small group of parents complaining about a teacher, but you won't allow an obscure web posting about "idiots" and "morons?" Can I still insult the King or will I end up in shackles? I'll simplify it for the masses: Some people think their children should not be with brown or black people. Is that offensive?
