I was at work (Stanford) and didn't feel a thing. I was called by someone in San Francisco, who DID feel it, and he couldn't believe that I didn't, being much closer.

I was in conference room on the 4th floor of an office building on the east side of 101 at Mathilda. I didn't feel it, but in the offices just a few steps away, people said they did. We thought they were crazy, and likewise they us.

I felt it sitting in my office in a 100+ y.o. house in downtown P.A. Now I'm contemplating my best escape route for when and if the "big one" hits.

At home looking for "leftover" QA jobs, felt nothing except that sinking feeling as positions get outsourced to India.
