"Skimmers -- the small devices used to perpetrate the crime -- can be bought online, and usually blend in when attached to ATM reader slots. "The machine would look totally normal to your eyes,"
I don't buy that. Why don't you show me one and we'll see?
How about a picture, so we can tell what these skimmers look like when we see one?

The mountain view police have got all the time in the world to stop and search old white people walking down the street for no reason and condition them for a police state, just like they do at airports, but they can't solve crimes, [portion removed due to offensive language].

CardSwitch Technology Ltd. offers a system that enables cardholders to electronically lock and unlock their card accounts. Banks in countries that have implemented chip and pin now realize that this system will eliminate card fraud (see finextra Handelsbanken).

Needless to say – you should visually inspect a machine before inserting your card, and select “credit” instead of “debt” when making an ATM transaction at a store.
