What a great idea, the blimps really ad alot to MV's charm. I really enjoy watching the blimps come and go. They leave a very small carbon footprint when you compare the size of them to jets, etc.

I worked on the Hangar One roof in 1980 for a firm that was replacing rusted out panels on the sides, and the built-up roof on the top. There are 2 layers of 2"x6" tongue & groove "virgin" (no knots) redwood over the metal structure to which the metal panels were installed. Beautiful structure with an amazing history.
