From the Voice's own archives, the original budget for the El Camino Hospital construction was $298 million. Ken King and the administration at the hospital are $154 million OVER BUDGET! When Measure D was passed to provide tax payer funds for the rebuilding of the hospital, the $298 million figure was used. This is just another example of the lack of integrity in hospital announcements.
