Good Non-crowded places to view fireworks

Original post made by lbhu, Shoreline West, on Jul 4, 2008

Anyone know of any good -- not crazy-traffic-crowded -- places to go with a family to view shoreline fireworks? We have small kids and grandparents who wouldn't want to camp out all day for a decent spot. And we really don't have the patience to wait in traffic for 1-2 hours to get out once they are over. It could be an open field or street with a clear view. But somewhere we can get in and out easily -- and see some fireworks. BTW - it doesn't have to be shoreline fireworks, just any fireworks. Thanks and happy 4th!
