Meeting of Los Altos council, MVLA turns ugly

The long-awaited joint meeting Monday between high school district trustees and the Los Altos City Council began with a discussion on drug and alcohol use and ended with a clenched-teeth exchange over "transparency."

I don't know about ugly. It was more "hilariously awkward."
