Measure C passes by a landslide

The Mountain View Whisman School District's new parcel tax won with a solid 79.8 percent of the vote Tuesday, surprising supporters who had worried it might not receive the two-thirds vote percent needed to pass.

Thrilled to hear the parcel tax passed. What a relief for our schools. I was worried we'd loose our library and wonderful librarian at Castro School to the cutbacks. I'm hoping this will save them.
