Nice article. As a member-at-large for the "citizen advisory group," now called the Mountain View Environmental Sustainability Task Force, I can say Steve definitely has his hands full with us but there is a lot of great work being done. It is important to note that although greenhouse gas emissions is a major focus, for good reason, the Task Force is also considering a broad range of other sustainability issues. There is still a great need and opportunity for more members of the community to get involved. Here are details about a public input meeting taking place on Monday night and other ways to participate:

The Mountain View Environmental Sustainability Task Force would like to announce a public input meeting:
April 21st 6pm - 8.30pm
Council Chambers, Second Floor, City Hall
500 Castro Street

With an open microphone format, each citizen will have a three minute opportunity to present ideas for preserving and restoring the environment to maintain our safe, harmonious community.
