For his work covering the Virginia Tech shooting last year, former Mountain View High School student Jose Vargas has won the Pulitzer Prize.

Hooray for Jose!!! I remember him in the Hawaiian shorts and sleeping all night on the floor at the Voice after a late meeting....He is an example of the great American success story....I definitely remember him when.......a great guy!
