They took all the trees
Put em in a tree museum
And they charged the people
A dollar and a half just to see em
Dont it always seem to go
That you dont know what youve got
Till its gone
They paved paradise
And put up a parking lot
Wow, we are living in a Joni Mitchell song. This is surreal.

All this article tells me is that Kevin McBride likes the flood catcher. He doesnt speak for me or the rest of the area around the park!
How much is being spent to save 1600 people some money on flood insurance?

i'm so sad about this.. I grew up down the street from Cuesta and see no reason for it. And to take away McKelvy Park is upsetting to me..

Kevin Mc Bride, this is for you, our people need another election
for officers of the esteemed, Save Open Space....and we need to beef
up the membership--more than 4 will do......It will happen this week-end at the Starbucks on Castro at 10 AM Sat. June 26....You can recognize me by my
flowered hat.........................................Sally
