With this council opposed to new developments, how did this manage to go through?
Then again these people say one thing and do another.
Less than a year ago I was told by a council member.."Mountain View does not need new homes"
Then she votes through the project.

This was a great project that the City Planning Department managed to botch, really - a 300 page staff report???!!!! What a waste. The City should have spent their time ensuring there was a Mix of Uses here. Imagine how nice a corner cafe would have been. Instead, the Council listened to that short term thining of adjacent residents and City staff (sadly) agreed.

City council had discussion about some details of the plan, and the plan is Go-Go for the development. Mountain View needs more housing for sure. The transit-oriented housing development is what we need.

Well, how about Mountain View needs more parks for sure? That site has many mature trees that would be ruined by the plan. And how about school capacities?
Don't miss out
