Nice to have some sort of resolution to this case, but I don't know that the Voice should be running stories about someone's guilt or innocence based on an account from a single source. I know that a ADA is unlikely to make some something like this up -- given the risk of sanctions from the court or the boss -- but this seems a little too easily verifiable to just take someone's word. Call the defense attorney or check the court transcript next time.
