Denser housing on way out?

A majority of the City Council sent a message to developers Tuesday that it wants "quality over quantity" in housing projects as it reconsiders city policies that increase housing density.

I was born in Mtn View, i wouldn't the city to be full of hi-rises, but i have seen slower growth here and there, and all over the Bay Area. It gets harder and harder for the people that work here get prices out in both rent and pice and the driving times increases. Less is more, yeah more expensive.
