Educators devalued

The "two Americas" that John Edwards describes were ironically illustrated in the Oct. 26 Voice. Two separate articles addressed the same Silicon Valley concern — paying competitive salaries to "attract and retain talented people and reward them for good work" in public service.

Robin, Great editorial. The El Camino Hospital District Board is out of touch with reality. They are paying much, much more than comparable hospitals in the Bay Area. Hospitals like Sequoia, Washington, and Valley all pay much less to their executives. Wes Alles and the rest of the board are just lying to the public when they spout off their absurd justifications for the salaries paid to executives. They should all be voted out of office or resign.
