Charlotte Enann ("Nan") Dame passed away on Dec. 4, 2024. She is survived by her beloved husband, Carl Mortimer, her four children, Kevin, Kim, Kirsten ("Boobie") and Karine ("Doodle"), her brother and sister, Rick and Patti Ford, 7 grand and 6 great grandchildren, in addition to a large circle of dear friends and her many children "by love" - those she opened her arms and home to over the years. She was born on March 30, 1946, daughter of Margarette Dolores ("Dody") Mellor and Richard ("Dick") Lemos Ford, natives of Palo Alto, Ca. Nan was a dedicated nurse, retiring from City and County of San Francisco Mental Health after years of service, though her dedication to others went well beyond her professional work. She leaves a legacy of love and care in her children and grandchildren and all who knew her.
