Where to get Christmas meals on the Peninsula

Uploaded: Dec 15, 2020
Here's a list of restaurants and bakeries offering Christmas specials for pickup and delivery on the Peninsula, from prime rib and bûche de Noël to Jamaican beef oxtails and a Thai meal set. Also, the Dungeness crab season is set to start on Dec. 23, if you can hold out for some local crustaceans.

This list will continue to be updated, so check back for more options.

Thanks for the list! I hope some of these will be doing New Years Eve/Day menus also, since I've already ordered our Christmas dinner (from Bistro Elan). I'll go check some of these out for NYE.

I noticed that some of the options were for 4 or 6 or more people, which seemed off-key at the higher numbers for our socially-constrained times. But I hope people take better care than they apparently did with Thanksgiving.

I'm definitely looking for buche de noel, so glad to see that listed.

A very upscale listing...how about adding some ethnic venues that offer other holiday 'traditionals' such as where to get good tamales. [Portion removed.]

We ordered our Thanksgiving meal from the Market et Edgewood. The turkey was the best ever! They have various offerings for Christmas, but I think the time to order is growing short.

Check out the three options from Piazza's Market (Palo Alto and San Mateo). We've ordered one of them.

Happy Holidays, everyone!
