"Coming soon" signs for the business went up recently at the corner space, which last occupied by candy store Rocket Fizz.
Three cousins, each named Nick Tsigaris, started Nick the Greek together in 2014. They all grew up with parents in the restaurant business in San Jose.

There are now 12 locations of Nick the Greek, including in Redwood City, San Carlos and Sunnyvale. The owners have also started franchising. (Investment to begin a franchise ranges from about $350,000 to $523,800 for a single location, including a $35,000 initial franchise fee, the restaurant's website states.)
Nick the Greek serves pita wraps with pork, chicken, beef, lamb, falafel and veggies, as well as souvlaki plates and customizable bowls (any meat or falafel with basmati rice, romaine lettuce, onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, feta and red wine vinaigrette topped with tzatziki and spicy yogurt). There's also the "Grecian Beefteki" hamburger with feta cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions and feta sauce.
The owners did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Stay tuned on an opening date for the Mountain View location.
