The new Coupa opened earlier this month in the ground floor of the Colonnade apartment complex, which is owned by Stanford University and populated by many faculty and staff. Six of Coupa's eight cafes are located on the Stanford campus.

Coupa owner Jean Paul Coupal said previously that Stanford approached him to see if he would want to open a cafe at the building.
The Los Altos location serves the cafe's typical espresso, coffee and tea as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers free WiFi. View the menu here.
Coupa was born in downtown Palo Alto in 2004 and has steadily expanded since then. The owners plan to open another location at 825 Marshall St. in downtown Redwood City in 2019. (Stanford is also building a satellite campus in Redwood City.)
The Los Altos Coupa is open Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (It’s closed Sundays.) Happy hour is offered daily from 3 p.m. until closing.
