San Francisco's Urban Ritual boba pops up in Redwood City

Uploaded: Oct 16, 2018
For the rest of the year, boba fans can visit Redwood City's Revere Coffee for a pop-up version of San Francisco bubble tea shop Urban Ritual Cafe.

A limited pop-up menu is available Wednesday through Sunday from noon to close at Revere, which opened this summer at 2074 Broadway St. Lily Lai, who owns Revere, is friends with Urban Ritual owner David Zhou.
Zhou started Urban Ritual as a pop-up before opening a permanent space in Hayes Valley in May.

Available boba flavors include the creme brûlée ($5.50) with honey boba, milk and torched raw sugar; matcha toffee ($5.25) with milk and toffee brittle; strawberry basil lemonade ($5). No sweetness adjustments are available at the pop-up.

Revere also now serves baked goods, including mochi donuts, from Berkeley's Third Culture Bakery.

Lai is planning to host a pie pop-up later this month from 43 & Company in Santa Clara. Check Revere's Instagram for details.
