Ommegang is a Belgian brewery located near Cooperstown, New York, and is well known for its multiple award-winning beers, such as the Rare Vos and Hennepin. Refuge will be giving away Ommegang merchandise as well as featuring flights of the following beers: Ommegang Gnomegang (a blond ale), Ommegang Hennepin (a saison), Ommegang Adoration Ale (a strong dark ale) and Ommegang Rare Vos (an amber ale).

"Come get pucker faced with us yet again for our annual Sour Beer Event," the Rose & Crown invites. Head to Freewheel Brewing for a special SF Beer Week edition of its popular Monday night pub quiz event. Harry's will pour some special beers, including "Pugachev's Cobra," from Hangar 24 Craft Brewery in Redlands.
? Stone tap takeover at The Refuge, 1143 Crane St., Menlo Park; 5-9 p.m.
The Refuge's taps will be flowing with beer from Stone Brewing Co. in Escondido. There will be Stone merchandise to be had as well as flights of the following beers: "Double Bastard" (a strong ale), "Smoked Vanilla" (a porter), "Master of Disguise" (an imperial golden stout) and "Old Guardian" (a barley wine).
? Tap It Brewing Co. at Steins Beer Garden & Restaurant, 896 Villa St., Mountain View; 5-9 p.m.
Steins will serve San Luis Obispo-based Tap It Brewing Co.'s new pilsner, "Rimfire Red," which they are now brewing with hops from a local grower in SLO; "3 on the Tree" triple IPA and a specialty cask beer.

Head to Bierhaus to enjoy a collection of beers from Sudwerk Brewery that will include the release of a limited batch of Doppel Bock, aged in hand-selected Kentucky bourbon barrels. "The Bourbonator was allowed to hibernate until it was time to uncage the beastly blend of flavors that include vanilla, coconut, hints of bourbon, chocolate, toffee and the signature, velvet smooth finish of the doppel," the event description reads. "Bierhaus is the only venue in the South Bay to have this on tap and this will be the only night the Bourbonator is available! Get your claws on some!"

Freewheel is hosting a one-day special release of three cask ales ? and "when it's gone, it's gone," they said. There will be an Elderflower London Calling Bitter, Dry-Hopped and Fruit infused Mind the Gap IPA and a Coffee Vanilla Wenlock Stout.

" Dust off your Lederhosen! All strong beer plus pork. Sound good?" Head to Gourmet Haus Staudt for an "all German strong beer night," with taps pouring all bocks and double bocks and the kitchen serving haxen, a German meat dish.

Located in San Ramon, Schubros Brewery has specially prepared two craft beers for SF Beer Week: Kirov Russian Imperial Stout, aged for seven to eight months in cab barrels, and Aalbeke Golden Ale, aged in cab barrels since May. To complement these beers, Steins will also feature Dante's Door Belgian dubbel, Rock City Amber ale and Branch Line Double IPA.
? Das German Craft Beer tap takeover at Gourmet Haus Staudt, 2615 Broadway St., Redwood City; 5-11 p.m.
Special beers from Freigeist and Braufactum will be on tap, highlighting the new craft brew movement coming out of Germany. Lederhosen optional.
Friday, Feb. 13
? 'Bites and Brews' food and beer pairing at Freewheel Brewing Company, 3736 Florence St., Redwood City; 4-10 p.m.
Freewheel's chef will be preparing several small dishes to be paired with half-pints of the brewery's award-winning real ale. Pairings will include London Calling Bitter and stuffed mushrooms; English IPA and curry chips; and Wenlock Stout and sticky toffee pudding.
? 'A Taste of San Francisco' at Harry's Hofbrau, 1909 El Camino Real, Redwood City; 5-11 p.m.
All 28 of Harry's taps will be turned over to beers that represent the San Francisco Brewers Guild.
? 'Hop Dogma is coming to Germany' at Gourmet Haus Staudt, 2615 Broadway St., Redwood City; 5-10 p.m.
Dogma Brewing from El Granada, California, will take over Gourmet Haus Staudt's guest taps, and the brewer will attend.
Saturday, Feb. 14
? Saint Archer tap takeover at The Refuge, 1143 Crane St., Menlo Park; 5-10 p.m.
The Refuge will highlight Saint Archer Brewing Co. with merchandise give-aways and beer flights of the following beers: White Ale, Hoppy Pilsner,
Double IPA and Coffee Brown.
? K&L at Gourmet Haus Staudt, 2615 Broadway St., Redwood City; 5:30-10 p.m.
Beer buyers Jimmy and Bryan from K&L Wine Merchants will be manning the guest taps. They will be tapping some special kegs and have some rare bottles available.
