Teen Women & Father's Grief Workshops

Uploaded: Jun 18, 2014
Want a weekend to feel normal with your grief? A place to not have to pretend about what you're going through? Be surrounded by others that have joined the club no one wants to have joined?

Kara, an amazing grief support organization in Palo Alto has a few openings for high school or recently graduated females in their Camp Erin program. Friday, July 18 through Sunday noon, July 20. No cost. The website says registration is closed. Please ignore that and contact: Beth Keller at beth@kara-grief.org

The Tim Griffith Foundation is offering it's first Summer Grief Retreat for Fathers: Friday - Sunday, August 15-17. Cost $450; they will provide scholarships as needed. They also offer Mother's Grief Retreats in September and December. Contact: Debbie Lee at debbielee@timgriffithfoundation.org

* I am unaffiliated with these organizations. I used to volunteer for Kara in fundraising, and later as a peer counselor.
Community.
What is it worth to you?
