Craft beer, Irish mac and cheese, a Game of Thrones pop-up dinner and dining for a good cause. What more could you ask for? Plan your eating/drinking around the Peninsula for the month of May:

Andrés burger at Umami
Umami Burger has teamed up with well-known Spanish-American chef José Andrés
to offer a limited edition burger designed by Andres. Head to the downtown Palo Alto location for the pork-and-cured-ham patty topped with aioli, piquillo pepper confit, caramelized onions and manchego cheese starting on Tuesday, May 20. The burger is part of Umami's "Artist Series," in which the Los Angeles-based burger chain partners with chefs for special burger collaborations (the last one we saw was Michael Voltaggio's uber-ingdulgent Monte Cristo burger.) The Andrés burger is $15; $1 from each purchase will be donated to humanitarian nonprofit World Central Kitchen, which Andrés founded.

Morocco's Restaurant fundraiser

The proceeds will directly support helping to bring the center's kitchen up to code so it can feed its workers.
