8th Annual San Francisco International Chocolate Salon at Fleming's
To kick off the 8th Annual San Francisco International Chocolate Salon, a major Bay Area chocolate event, Fleming?s in Palo Alto will be serving a cappuccino s?more dessert. It features a "subtle crunch," house made flame-torched marshmallow and Fleming?s signature molten chocolate cake, according to a press release. The dessert is not part of the regular menu and is only available at the Palo Alto location upon request from March 9 to 15 for $11.50.

Left Bank Oysters & Loire Valley Wine Celebration
Left Bank will also be celebrating oysters and wines from Loire Valley, a valley in the middle stretch of the Loire River in central France known for its wines, from Monday, March 10, through Friday, March 14. The restaurant will offer a choice of three Loire Valley wines in a flight of two-ounce pours (also available by the glass, carafe or bottle) and "oyster-focused" lunch and dinner menu items.

Shoreline Wine Seminar: French Wine Basics
Check out the last event in Shoreline Lake's wine seminar series, French Wine Basics, on Wednesday, March 12, 6 to 7:30 p.m. Learn about and taste French wines; demystify French wine-making practices from Matt Silsby of Beltramo's Wines & Spirits. Alexander's Steakhouse 'Tour of the Bay' Dinner
On Friday, March 14, The Sea by Alexander?s Steakhouse in Palo Alto will host a ?Tour of the Bay? dinner where each of the Alexander?s Steakhouse executive chefs come together for an "exclusive, one-night-only" dinner. Executive Chefs Yu Min Lin from The Sea, Chef Gerardo Naranjo from Alexander?s Steakhouse Silicon Valley and Chef Marc Zimmerman from Alexander?s Steakhouse San Francisco will each take on a different course in the seven-course tasting menu. Reservations required. Cost: $185 per person with optional wine pairings available for $100.

Tasting 101 at Red Rock Coffee
Red Rock Coffee in Mountain View is hosting a coffee tasting on Saturday, March 15, 10 a.m. to noon. Cost: $20 per person; includes a 12-ounce bag of coffee beans from the event. 'Spring Has Sprung: Celebrating Spain' pop-up dinner
Local pop-up dinner organizer SVUnderground is throwing a "Spring Has Sprung: Celebrating Spain" dinner highlighting Spanish cuisine on Saturday, March 22, from 7 to 9 p.m. The event is sold out, but join the waitlist. Chef Gale Tan will be serving items like seared scallops, mini empanadas, white gazpacho, paella and more. See a full menu here; vegetarian options also available. Cost: $112 plus processing fee.
