I kind of wonder if this is teaching kids about skepticism about taking the media at face value, or if it is about training kids to see things the state doesn't like as "misinformation". You should train kids to think critically and question and investigate what they see in the media. You should not promote censorship. If your position is based upon solid methodology and rigor, there is no need to suppress anything. You should be able to defend your position on its merits. If you need to suppress "misinformation", it calls into question how strong your merits actually are.
