State Street Market is now open in Los Altos. Anticipation has run high with the arrival of the area's own food hall that will ultimately have a mix of food vendors, a restaurant, a speakeasy and a teaching kitchen.

The carafe of wine is a great deal, two generous classes for $15 (price varies, we got the cheapest pour, which was very drinkable). It's a great concept, I really wish someone would do something similar for downtown Mountain View, way too many empty storefronts, and it is getting very run down. Lots of potential, but downtown MV needs an injection of style and energy. Old Global Beads location would be a great spot for a food hall.
