My new favorite pizza in the whole world is the carbonara at Vesta in downtown Redwood City. What could have been a dense, gooey affair was feather light, packed with flavor and satisfying. On subsequent visits, I had to force myself to order other menu items so I could complete this review.

Yes! We love Vesta. Doppio is great and we are really lucky to have it nearby, but Vesta is worth the trip to Redwood City every once in a while, especially since you can walk over to the movie theater for a nice dinner-and-a-movie outing.
