This Thanksgiving, thousands of community members will come together in kitchens and dining halls throughout the Midpeninsula, from the Mountain View restaurant owner who opens his doors every year to offer free turkey dinners to the dozens of volunteer kitchen workers who will spend the morning prepping and serving turkey with all the fixings to hundreds of children, families, seniors and homeless individuals.

I live in Sunnyvale and worked at Moffett Field for 24 years. I would like to thank all of the many generous businesses, non-profit, and religious organizations who year after year answer the call of helping feed the multitudes on Thanksgiving Day. Hunger is not limited to Thanksgiving, it is a very real situation to many individuals and families throughout the country.Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
